Other: The Red Cedar Log is a publication in which one can further develop his or her journalistic skills while getting hands-on expereince with deadlines, meetings. interviews and photography shoots. RCL offers a professional journalistic environment with a flexible work load.

Other: Spartan Edge is a weekly online publication focusing on campus issues in an "edgy" way. Our aim is to rectify the truth of controversy and give readers at MSU an alternative source for campus news. We began as an experiment to see where the Internet can take media, and we focus a lot on multimedia – photos, video and audio – to bring the news alive.
Meetings: Every other week on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. in the East Shaw Lobby, beginning Sept. 2
